This is a summary of the important topics discussed at the last Board meeting. Please see the minutes when posted for the official minutes.
Summary from the June 2025 Board meeting.
- The owner of a unit whose tenant was causing issues in the neighborhood informed the Board that the tenant is in the process of packing to move out They should be moving out in a week or so.
- The Board voted to raise the heat in all the pools.
- The decision was made to add advertising to the Crosspointe website to generate revenue and to add Board meeting summary information to drive more traffic to the site. Any revenue from users clicking on the ads will go straight into the Crosspointe bank account as income.
- The requirement for a filter cap at the center pool and WiFi for the smart filters was discussed.
- The Board discussed the fact that the HOA is short three million dollars in reserves.
- The Board discussed the upcoming budget. Cardinal will have a draft budget available at the July meeting.
- The Board approved to have Las Flores do a demo washing of the crow excrement on the sidewalks. Crow deterrents were also discussed.
- The Board discussed options for negotiating the cost of the deck work, mandated by the state, with PCW. The project is expected to cost around one million dollars.
- The Hearing and Fine policy will be adhered to. That means that a violation letter will be sent out giving the homeowner 30 days to resolve the issue. If it’s not taken care of within that timeframe, a hearing will be scheduled. If the issue is resolved before the hearing, there will not be a fine.
