Board Meeting Summary – 7/2025

This is a summary of the important topics discussed at the last Board meeting. Please see the minutes when posted for the official minutes.

Summary from the July 2025 Board meeting.

  • It was noted that the Board was able to negotiate the change order cap for the major deck project from 20% down to 15% which could save the HOA  tens of thousands of dollars in the long run.
  • The Board voted  to purchase the. Center pool filter cap on their own as opposed to purchasing it from the pool company, which will save the HOA hundreds of dollars.
  • The Board approved numerous individuals for several committees.
  • The Board discussed the upcoming budget and will  schedule  meetings outside of the monthly Board meeting to go over each single line item and discuss ways to save money.
  • The  Board discussed crow deterrents. Spinning mirrors on the top of roofs similar to those on  the roofs of In-n-Out and Walmart will be installed on a trial basis. One is currently installed on a roof at Parkglen and Ramblingbrook.
  • New rules were drafted pertaining to lattice work and permanent decorative lighting. The new rules will be sent to owners once they are finalized.
  • Due to a law change,, the maximum violation fine is now set at $100 for the initial violation, and an additional $100 for each repeat violation after that.
