This is a summary of the important topics discussed at the last Board meeting. Please see the minutes when posted for the official minutes.
Summary from the December 2025 Board meeting.
- The Board met in Executive Session to discuss a foreclosure.
- The duck deterrent is not available through our pool service. The pools will be monitored for any problems caused by ducks in the pools.
- The state mandated turf removal process was discussed. It was noted that the state’s rebate fund account has 64% of funds left. The Board discussed the fact that the project needs to move forward and completed as soon as possible before the rebate funds are gone. The amount of rebates that the HOA is applying for is five to six hundred thousand dollars. The Board will ensure that Las Flores moves the project along.
- The project to monetize the Crosspointe website is still underway. When completed, 100% of the revenue generated from users clicking the ads will go straight into the budget as income.
- Reinvestment of CD funds were analyzed to make sure there will be enough money available to pay for the balcony renovations when needed.
- A lien was approved for a property.
- PCW had attended the October meeting, at which time the Board expressed their unhappiness with the fact that PCW missed the necessary replacement of several load bearing posts during their initial walk thru and estimate. As a result, PCW has lowered the cost of the pole installations by over 50%, saving the HOA over $25,000.
- The Board approved the renewal of our insurance policy.
- The fine and violation policy was updated to reflect the new state law that specifies that the maximum fine amount is now $100.
- The revised Rules and Regulations were formerly adopted. Owners will soon receive a copy of the revisions.
- Due to the holidays, the next Board meeting will be on January 28, 2026.
